AME and Wolters Kluwer aim to expand access to global medical research through new collaboration

The agreement broadens the reach of nearly 50 Open Access titles, contributing globally to over 5,000 articles

October 2, 2025 — Wolters Kluwer Health announced a new collaboration with AME Publishing Company, an Open Access publisher specializing in medical journals and books, headquartered in Hong Kong, China.

The First Impact Factor for Journal of Hospital Management and Health Policy: 1

We are pleased to announce that the Journal of Hospital Management and Health Policy (JHMHP) has attained its first impact factor for the 2024 citation year: 1.

The announcement of the journal’s first impact factor is not only a significant achievement for the journal but also the recognition of its more significant scientific reach. Here, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our Editorial Board Members, Guest Editors, Authors, and Reviewers for their significant contributions.

Journal of Hospital Management and Health Policy 2024 CiteScore Released: 1.8

We are pleased to announce that the Journal of Hospital Management and Health Policy (JHMHP) has achieved its 2024 CiteScore: 1.8. JHMHP ranks as follows across various categories: 216 out of 320 in Health Policy, 337 out of 496 in Strategy and Management, 28 out of 41 in Leadership and Management, and 47 out of 63 in Health Information Management. This milestone underscores our ongoing commitment to publishing impactful research in the field.

In 2025, JHMHP reviewers continue to make outstanding contributions to the peer review process. They demonstrated professional effort and enthusiasm in their reviews and provided comments that genuinely help the authors to enhance their work.

Journal of Hospital Management and Health Policy is officially indexed by Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)

On April 18, 2024, Journal of Hospital Management and Health Policy (JHMHP) received an official notice that it had been selected for coverage in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), Web of Science™ Core Collection. Articles published after 2022, beginning with 6(1), will be included.

Implementation of transparent peer review at Journal of Hospital Management and Health Policy (JHMHP)

With a commitment to openness and accountability, and to increase the level of transparency throughout our peer review process, our editorial office has decided to implement a transparent peer review process as an option for all manuscripts submitted to JHMHP from March 19, 2020.
